Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the RentStack website and platform.

1. Who we are
RentStack is operated by MarketStack Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 17335574, registered office 150 Nene Terrace Road, Crowland, Peterborough, PE6 0LH. By using the platform you agree to these terms.
2. Your account
Some parts of the platform require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity carried out under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else. We may suspend or close an account where these terms have been breached.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the platform for anything unlawful, or to harass or defraud anyone;
- submit information you know to be false, or impersonate another person;
- attempt to access data or accounts that do not belong to you;
- interfere with the platform’s operation or security, or scrape it at scale.
4. Listings and property information
Where a landlord supplies property details, they are responsible for their accuracy and for holding the right to market that property. Listings and rents are an invitation to enquire, not a contractual offer, and availability can change without notice.
5. Enquiries and viewings
Submitting an enquiry does not reserve a property or create a tenancy. Any tenancy is formed only by a separate written agreement, following referencing and the statutory checks required by law.
6. Paid services
Optional services can be ordered through the platform, with prices shown before you pay. Payments are handled by Stripe; we do not store your full card details. Because these are arranged services, once work has been carried out it cannot be refunded, though statutory cancellation rights for consumers are unaffected.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change, and maintenance or supplier failures may cause downtime.
8. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses such as lost profit or lost opportunity.
9. Your data
Our handling of personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, and our use of cookies in our Cookie Notice.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the version published here is the one in force. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
